■ MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for alliance membership, an airline must meet all of the following
conditions:

- At least 1 week has passed since the airline was established.
- The airline operates at least (Demand Bars × 50) flights per week at its Hub Airport.
- The airline has a rating of AA or higher.

In principle, only 1 airline per country is permitted.
Exceptions:
- The United States of America and the People’s Republic of China may each have
up to 3 member airlines.

If an existing alliance member is located in the same country or an adjacent country,
that member’s opinion shall take precedence during the membership review process.
